Achievements

Projects that produced significant client benefits include  a business plan describing how the annular core research reactor at Sandia National Laboratories could be used for both weapons research and the manufacture of medical isotopes, and a companion white paper on the use of monoclonal antibodies in nuclear medicine. These projects influenced the Department of Energy to fund the Moly-99 project at Sandia National Laboratories.  A bold and innovative business plan describing how microfuel cells could revolutionize the portable electronics industry brought  $1 million in capital to Energy Related Devices.

26 New Mexico Advertising Federation awards, including 10 First Place awards. Two projects that won local awards also went on to win national recognition; one appearing in the Print Design Annual, another receiving a Potlach Paper Award for Best Corporate Brochure.  Two awards of merit from the Society for Technical Communication.

30  National and International Awards for video scripts written for Sandia National Laboratories including two Gold World Awards from New York Festivals,  1st Place Gold International Cinema in Industry (CINDY) and four 2nd Place Silver Awards from the New York Festivals International Film and Video Competition.

Scriptwriting experience includes radio and TV commercials; and corporate videos for high tech companies; award-winning video scripts for Sandia National Laboratories on Pulsed Power, High-Consequences Engineering, High-Performance Computing, Yucca Mountain and a general tour of Sandia National Laboratories.  A rap music video (with original lyrics) for high school students promoting science careers that won numerous awards, was shown to the U.S. Congress and aired extensively on Channel One, the education channel and won first place at the New York Film Festival in the educational category.
